What do i feed the black sword platy fry (babies)?
Last night both of my black sword platy and mickey mouse platy had fry (about 80). I have a seperate tank for these little guys, but the problems is i dont know what to feed them!!! I try to feed them some crushed flakes. They dont eat it. I trying to give them some WARDLEY SMALL LIQUID FRY FOOD, is that good enough and for how long do i keep on feéding them this?
Their first food should consist of brine shrimp naupli(b/bs)or micro-worms.Powdered food while easier,should only be used as a suppliment.This diet+regular water changes,will allow fry to develop rapidly.After3-4wks,transfer them to a larger aquarium with lots of space,& if you can be patient you will see them reach adulthood in about 1yr.
