Knives are Made in China "bad?
I just noticed a knife Buck looked, it was known as Mantis, is porcelain. Kershaw also Vapor 2 i have seen in China. It does not mean that the quality of these knives are not good because I've heard most of the Chinese made knives are so rotten that im asking is are the knives I was looking for something good, even if they were made in China?
In generally, its steel and manufacturing quality is considerably lower that most of the United States has made knives, and certainly will not abuse, particularly wet folds, prevent rust, abusive treatment, etc. Without But both Buck & Kershaw many names in the industry, so it probably improve the quality of some of the no-name Asian knives, or knives, no-good name, as Frost Cutlery. As in most things, my advice is spend money you can afford – or more – to ensure that garbage out of the category as possible. A good knife is a pleasure to own and use, and you'll never regret spending the money if you really use the knife instead of having a tray decoration somewhere. I paid $ 35 for my case of shark teeth, there are about 25 years, and as I crawled past that much money for a knife blade. If it were not so damned beautiful that I would not have done. However, I noticed this in six different countries, hiking and camping in the world, and still is a wonderful tool that provided can have the confidence to maintain an advantage and do the work – cleaning fish, chop sticks on fire, opening a campsite or even in the hammering of nails attaching the flaps of my tent to a tree (yes, a terrible abuse, but it will take). Best money I spent on a knife, and probably still serve as my years of child from now when I'm worm food. That is much more than I can say for certain brilliant Chinese imitation.
